A Visual Still Point
I’ve always found that the landscape offers a constant dialogue between the expansive and the minute. My photographs exist within that conversation, seeking a visual "still point" that brings the inherent complexity of the natural world into a singular focus. This commitment to distillation is a long-standing way of seeing for me, applied whether I am studying a horizon line or engaging in my career in advertising technology & media. Both fields require a similar temperament: the capacity to identify an essential resonance amidst a sea of information.
Currently based in Cape Cod, I find the local shoreline provides a recurring study in light and form. My compositions often sit in the tension between the abstract and the panoramic, moving toward a representation of mood rather than a record of geography. I am frequently drawn back to the water’s edge or the quiet interior of the woods, less to seek out a specific frame and more to let the scene reveal itself. This intuitive approach allows the environment to dictate the organization of the image.
While there are moments when the rhythmic cycles of the tide or the stars invite a more deliberate placement, the majority of my work is a response to the immediate. It is an act of noticing what is already there—the curve and mass of a dune, the texture of a receding wave, or the fall of light across a marsh. By extracting a specific portion of a vista, I aim to translate the exhilaration of a vast space into a quiet, portable truth. The goal is to capture the resonance of the encounter, offering a window into the stillness found when one simply stops to look.
Ultimately, my work is an invitation to share in that stillness. I am grateful for your interest and your presence here; I hope these images resonate with you as deeply as the process of capturing them has with me. More than a visual record, I hope these studies of the natural world serve as a quiet reminder to protect our beautiful and precious planet.

Fine Art Prints
All images are available as archival, museum-quality prints. While the shop features a rotating selection, any photograph in my portfolio can be produced in a variety of sizes. I utilize a large-format inkjet process on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 or FineArt Baryta Satin—selecting the specific paper that best honors the image’s texture and depth. These acid-free, 100% cotton papers offer a tactile, three-dimensional quality and a precise reproduction of detail.
Limited Editions
A curated selection of my work is available as Limited Editions. These represent my most definitive captures and are accompanied by a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity (COA). This document serves as the official record of the work’s provenance, documenting the edition number, title, location, and the specific archival materials used in the printing process.
